Aitor Amezaga, Bilbao-born (1958) basque musician and composer, began to study music at the tender age of 5 under Pilar Iturburu at the J.C. de Arriaga conservatory in Bilbao. He pursued higher level music courses at the San Sebastian conservatory with Professors Jesus Gonzalez Alonso and Juan Padrosa. Aitor completed his music studies in Barcelona under Arthur Bernstein specialising in modern music and jazz. He has been granted the “Recital Certificate in Keyboards” from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music in London.
Aitor has collaborated in music arrangements and as a recording studio musician in more than 80 recordings since 1972. Amongst them:

Aitor Amezaga has composed music for television, radio and other media, such as:

Aitor Amezaga currently combines his creative musical activities with teaching at the San Sebastian music school, at the Irun conservatory, and collaborating at the University.
His most recent works are the sound track for the movies “Ione sube al cielo” directed by Joseba Salegi, "Frio sol de invierno"directed by Pablo Malo, “Skizo” directed by Jesus Ponce , and “La sombra de nadie” directed by Pablo Malo, as well as 4 CDs with his latest creations published by Hilargi Records and Zine1.
